Gaston, an itinerant French merchant, was known to aptly evade taxes of any sort, earning him the nom de guerre of the "Leaping Fox" and the ire of many a French tax collector. He even managed to pull his infamous "Swedish Shuffle"; tricking the English to pay his French tax bill, under the guise they were buying weapons to fight the Spanish with. His whereabouts remain unknown to this day.
